Philippe Uhalde - Assistant Operations Manager
I was born in Bayonne in the Basque country in France. I spent 4 years at the catering school of Biarritz where I successfully passed 3 differents grades. Later worked in a relais chateau in South of France then decided to learn English, so I came to Scarborough in 1995.
My first job was at the Crown Spa Hotel in Scarborough for 3 years and then at the Royal Hotel Scarborough for 7 years, where I was running the gourmet restaurant as well as being Hotel Assistant Manager.
I am now today back working at the Crown Spa Hotel; working along with a good team wanting to become the best hotel and spa in North Yorkshire.
