Day 19 – Early morning stroll on the foreshore
The South Bay has a large sandy beach, with facilities that include amusement arcades, restaurants, ice cream shops, a theatre and many more attractions. There is a working inner harbour with working fishing boats and outer harbour for pleasure boats and yachts. There are boat trips avaliable including a pirate ship (the Hispaniola).
The historic Spa lies at the south end of the beach with the Crown Spa Hotel only a five minute walk or a short cliff ride on a funicular.
