The 4 star the Crown Spa Hotel, Scarborough is the oldest purpose built hotel in our coastal resort with many of the original architectural features still in their prime. Bedroom accommodation is spread over 3 floors accessed through modern lifts and tastefully decorated corridors. The majority of room formats are double bedded having king or super king sized beds, a few have four poster beds, available by special request. Other room formats available are Single, Twin (two separate beds), or family rooms. This period hotel has six room classes; comfort rooms, superior rooms, feature rooms and the Victoria suite, mini suites and the new penthouse floor rooms, all these rooms classes have sea views available and all sea view rooms have the added benefit of spotting scopes!

Comfort Rooms: All our rooms are ensuite with a shower over a bath, LCD TV with Free View, tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities on a courtesy tray, trouser press, hairdryer, colour television, direct dial telephone with modem port, wireless broadband access (WIFI) within your room. They all have a full dressing table within them along with tasteful furnishings and refinements of a hotel of this quality. Feature rooms: As superior plus; a touch of opulence, Feature rooms are situated on the first floor, they all have stunning sea views over the wonderful South Bay and full length French windows leading out on to a balcony area, where you can sit and watch the world go by!

Victoria Suite: As Feature Room plus; the Victoria Suite is the size of two of our spacious Feature rooms, one room is the bedroom area, whilst the other is a dining room and lounge area, where you can entertain guests or sit relaxing whilst away on holiday. There are two bathrooms within the Suite, in one there is a power shower, whilst the other has a Jacuzzi bath to relax in.

Mini Suite: These rooms have a bedroom, bathroom and lounge and fire place, you effectively have a "city" style pad to relax in some also have amazing sea and coastal views.

PentHouse Floor Room: These very special rooms have a bedroom (with media connection system), bathroom (with TV and audio feed from media connection system), Contemporary decoration and solid oak furnishings, you effectively have a "city" style hotel room to relax in.
